MCS Alumni Recognized by National Science Foundation Posted on March 31st, 2016 by

The National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellows Program announced winners and honorable mentions on Tuesday March 29. Among the winners are two Gustavus MCS grads, Helen Wauck ’14, and Paige Miller ’15.  

Paige and Helen will get an annual stipend of $34,000 for three years as well as tuition remission.. They also are now eligible to apply for additional funding to conduct research abroad and/or for professional development funds.  Additionally, they have earned the title of NSF Graduate Research Fellow which comes with recognition and prestige and will be great when they apply for jobs in the future.

Congratulations Helen and Paige!!!  Keep up the great work.
