Join us on Wednesday (9/3) via Zoom for a presentation by Statistics and Political Science double-major, Ben Menke The title of Ben’s talk is “The Effects of Voter Turnout in U.S. Elections” and an abstract is given below.

Abstract: When it comes to elections, does it matter how many people vote? Do the results of high-turnout elections differ from low-turnout ones? In this presentation, I will discuss previous answers to these questions and offer my own findings after analyzing the last 223 U.S. Senate races.
