[Update: this position has now been filled.] Gustavus Adolphus College invites nominations and applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics for 2007-2008.

We seek candidates who have a PhD in mathematics or a closely related field and demonstrated commitment to excellent teaching of undergraduates. Exceptional applicants who are ABD will be considered for appointment at the rank of Visiting Instructor.

Teaching responsibilities will be three sections of Calculus 1 from September to December and three sections of a course or courses to be determined from February to May.
