Congratulations to current MCS student Kaylee Vick and MCS alumni Ha Le, and Rachel Erickson for winning Honorable Mention in the Undergraduate Statistics Research Project Competition! Their work looked at student buy-in for standards-based grading in Calculus I. The data was provided to them by Dr. Jeff Ford ’02 and their work was supervised by Dr. Jillian Downey ’08 and is part of an ongoing effort to bring real-world data analysis into the statistics curriculum at Gustavus.
