ACM ICPC 2015
Six gusties participated in the annual regional ACM programming contest at St Olaf College on Saturday October 31. There were twelve problems and they solved two. The Man Who Knew Infinity, a biopic about the life of mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan and his friendship with G. H. Hardy, opened yesterday at the Toronto International Film Festival. She’s Finally Here
Baby Bianca Esther Frazier-First was born on Tuesday May 12 at 3:30 pm. She weighed in at 7.5 pounds and was 23 inches long. Baby, Mother (Marian Frazier of the MCS department), and Father (Craig First, Assistant Track coach at Gustavus) are all doing well. Congratulations Frazier First Family!
MCS Picnic
The MCS Department will be holding its annual end of the year picnic on Tuesday May 19 at the Linnaeus Arboretum Interpretive Center from 5:00 to 7:00. Food and drinks will be provided.
