Gustavus Adolphus College invites applications for a tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Computer Science in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science to begin September 1, 2013.
We seek candidates who have an earned doctorate in Computer Science or a related discipline, but will consider candidates who have achieved ABD status. The successful candidate should have prior experience in teaching undergraduate computer science.
Primary responsibilities will include teaching courses in computer science, conducting research in computer science or its application, and contributing to general education. A commitment to teaching and advising is essential and thus we value candidates with academic experiences and interests in a culturally diverse setting.
