In this keynote lecture from the 2010 Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing, Barbara Liskov reflects on her career, including in particular the work that lead to her receiving the 2008 A.M. Turing Award, the most prestigious recognition for contributions to computer science.

Barbara Liskov is Institute Professor and Associate Provost for Faculty Equity at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

This video screening will take place in a class meeting of MCS-287 but others are invited to attend.
