We seek candidates who have at least a master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, or closely related field, as well as teaching experience in statistics or mathematics. (Statistics is preferred.) Experience in system administration is preferred. Pluses include familiarity with statistical and mathematical software (including Maple) and with TI graphing calculators (including the TI Navigator system).

(2) Coordinating the department’s use of instructional technology including computers (predominantly running Linux, with some Windows and Mac OS X) and graphing calculators.

The technology coordinator not only provides direct technical support to the members of the department but also coordinates with the staff of the Gustavus Technology Services department. As such, a demonstrated track-record of cooperative work will be highly valued.
