Tell us about yourself.
I graduated from Gustavus in 1998 with degrees in Chemistry and Computer Science. I am currently working as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Hood College in Frederick, MD
How did the MCS department help you get where you are today?
Knowledge of how computers work is essential in all of the sciences. I use computers in pretty much everything I do, from instrument control to data analysis to publishing my results. Since I am a physical chemist, the mathematical skills I learned at Gustavus also serve me quite well.
